Philip Twum, Head of Business Development at Fido, has been named Young Fintech Leader of the Year at the 5th Ghana Fintech Awards. The award recognises young professionals who are making a measurable impact in Ghana’s financial technology sector through leadership, innovation and industry collaboration.

Twum’s recognition reflects his role in expanding Fido’s partnerships and strengthening its position within Ghana’s digital finance ecosystem. Over the past year, he has been involved in building collaborations with banks, fintech companies and other organisations to expand access to digital financial services.

Under his leadership, Fido has deepened its engagement with financial institutions and technology partners. These partnerships have supported the rollout of products designed to improve access to credit and savings tools for individuals and small businesses.

The annual Ghana Fintech Awards recognise organisations and individuals that contribute to the development of the country’s financial technology industry. The event brings together fintech startups, banks, regulators and service providers to to celebrate the companies and individuals driving the digital finance.
