Ashesi University Foundation has increasingly connected its investment strategy to Ashesi’s commitment to developing entrepreneurial leaders in Africa.
Over the past two years, the Foundation has committed capital to two African venture capital funds, Janngo Capital and Ventures Platform.
These investments give the Foundation exposure to fund managers backing founders and businesses across the continent.
The growing VC portfolio signals a broader approach to supporting entrepreneurship, extending beyond developing entrepreneurial talent to backing the capital ecosystem that helps founders build and scale.
