Seevcash, the remittance and peer-to-peer money transfer platform serving African diaspora communities across Ghana, the US and beyond, has secured $333,000 in cumulative funding from the Stellar ecosystem.

Last year, Ghana Innovation Journal, reported that the company raised $142,000 from the SCF. The fund has since listed another $149,400 award to Seevcash this year. The company says its total funding spans four awards, including two Community Fund grants and two ecosystem growth programmes. The four awards have brought Seevcash’s total funding from the Stellar ecosystem to $333,000.

“This funding lets us build the product far beyond where we are today and put real resources behind growing our active user base and revenue,” said Dawuda Iddrissu, CEO and Co-Founder of Seevcash.”

“Every award from the Stellar Community Fund has come at a moment when we needed it most, and it’s allowed us to move faster on the roadmap without slowing down on what matters, getting more of the diaspora using Seevcash and using it often.”

Seevcash has reported strong growth across its platform. Data submitted through its Stellar Community Fund application shows nearly $1 million in total on-chain transaction volume and more than $10,000 in cumulative revenue.

The application also shows that Seevcash’s user base grew from 15,000 to more than 24,000 in Q1 2026. Monthly active users increased from 500 to 2,500, while daily active users rose from about 50 in December 2025 to 450.

Processed transaction volume reached $630,000 in Q1 2026, up from $327,000 cumulatively through December 2025. The company also recorded $6,000 in revenue during Q1, bringing cumulative revenue to $10,137.

The Stellar Community Fund is an open-application funding programme run by the Stellar Development Foundation. The fund uses community input to support startups and developers building on the Stellar network.

Since its launch in 2016, the fund and its predecessor have supported nearly 400 projects worldwide. They have distributed close to 200 million XLM, Stellar’s native asset, to teams building payment, remittance and financial infrastructure solutions.

Beyond funding, the SCF connects projects with the wider Stellar developer community. Teams receive feedback, technical support and greater visibility across the Stellar ecosystem.
